NLogin Failure of February 1, 2026
The AuthMe Failure of February 1, 2026 was a critical event where GGSMP's Authentication plugin stopped working. As a result, all accounts were free to be logged in given someone had a client capable of offline-mode alts. The event lasted about 3 hours and could've had horrible effects on the server if several staff were not online at the time.
Discovery
The glitch was discovered by [placeholder] around 8:30 PM (EST Time). TheFPSKiller was online at the time and decided to hijack ieatfungus64's account. This would lead to mass panic and confusion as the general playerbase realized what had happened.
Hijacking of Solenten's Account
TheFPSKiller proceeded to log-in on Solenten's account to prevent other players from using it (for two players can't be on an account at the same time; Minecraft itself wouldn't allow it) and banned all staff members for the same reason.
Everyone eventually had to go to sleep, and miraculously nothing bad ended up happening.
The Next Day
The server was somehow still operating normally, and TheFPSKiller unbanned all staff members as AuthMe was working again.
Solenten probably did something about it, or maybe the plugin just unbroke itself. Nobody other than him knows. The reader should be glad that the glitch didn't happen at noon on a weekend. That would've gone much, much worse.
